The installation depicts the grief over the loss of loved ones in war. The frieze, made of watercolor papers arranged in a row, runs along the wall, representing a war-ravaged, lifeless landscape. Visitors walk on the burnt cardboard laid out on the floor. A straight path is blocked. The Pietà prints placed there act as obstacles.
