Installation for the annual exhibition of the HAW Dept. of Textile Design, Hamburg 2011

An umbrella that provides portable protection against the sun, rain, wind and prying eyes. As soon as you open the Weschiro over your head, you create a new space within space. When you wear the Weschiro you are invisible, but can hear everything. This invisible place can be opened up anywhere. The wearer is hidden from view, but cannot be overlooked.
