This installation was inspired by Virginia Woolf`s essay „A Room of One’s Own.“ It calls for a private space and a basic income as prerequisites for creative work.
The installation depicts a room with textile walls. Inside, a felt heart floats in the center. The walls display blurred, overlapping fragments of text.Red threads extend from the heart through the walls of the enclosed space and into the exhibition area. These threads symbolically connect to both deceased and living artists.
